Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Switched lines to T Mobile

Since I had to get a new phone for my old concession line anyways I went ahead and switched to TMobile. I see why they are eating Verizon for breakfast. Everything is better! The customer service online and in store as well as the network. I had been overwhelmed with spam calls and missed calls before now no more! They even called me to make sure I understood all the processes. Dan was right they have surpassed Verizon in all areas. Do yourself a favor go ahead and switch those lines.

Switch to T Mobile at Costco . Depending on how many lines you switch, you get some sweet Costco Cash. 💰

Tmob have came a long way, switched 10 lines about a month ago, much better than VZ. Speeds barely any difference, most importantly custome service, international call plans and in flight internet……all working well so far.
VZ need to pick their game else Dan would keep sipping that cuppa coffee and firing ppl.

Tmo has been terrible for me since I switched 2 months ago. I am in NJ. The coverage and speeds are significantly worse.

@ax is an HR plant. The competitive edge is gone, and we are no better nor worse than the other two. It all depends on where you are. It didn't used to be that way, but now it is. No more competitive advantages, and no longer the most efficiently priced. If sales, net new adds, and the stock price does not at least grow with inflation, then the institutionals will force change, but more layoffs will come first.

Did you use the VZEX promo someone posted that TMO is offering impacted VZ employees?

Switched multiple lines out from Vz over to an mvno a couple years ago and never looked back. Superior customer service, better pricing (better than vz employee discount), friction free process, a little stronger and better network coverage. No brainer. Shame on me for waiting so long, thinking I was doing "my part" by sticking with Vz as an employee user.

I'm surprised that T-Mobile has not introduced a program for former Verizon employees to switch over. It would be quite a coup for them and quite a wake up call to the market that 'this ain't' the Verizon that built wireless and FiOS anymore!

Agree - and is so easy to delight the customer as TM is doing. Yet VZ’s arrogance and its leadership dont get it
