Fellow Peakers - be careful this week

Halloween has traditionally been a time of amped-up attacks and other bad stuff from SoMo. Last year a coworker was sent a Halloween card and Snickers bar by interoffice. It was made to look like it came from one of our other teammates in Denver but we all know better now. She made a terrible scream like I never heard before and when I went over to her cube her mouth was bleeding profusely. There was a razor blade in her candy bar. She needed stitches in her tongue and her palate and under her tongue. It was bad.

Leaving work last night I was pummeled by eggs and atleast one rock by some SoMo id--ts dressed as clowns shouting "Sonoran Style!" I'd report it Monday but I'd just get the same answer as when my tires were slashed. I was told to shut up about it and there would be disciplinary action if I said anything or told anyone.

More posts from the Phoenix location I see. I’ve heard about the multiple fights in parking lot

This actually did happen, but it was pre-dot com bubble, Halloween 1999 and at the Sprint building before Schwab took it over.

The razor blade was from Harry’s and Op is incorrect, the victim needed staples.

The chocolate was an edible so we all knew it was from Denver.

This did happen. It was in 2005. But the Snickers bar had melted and the razor blade was visible, so luckily the woman was not injured. Security was called, and the person who responded tripped and was cut by the razor, which is where the blood came from.

It did. I was the colleague in Denver who it supposedly came from. I was interrogated for hours by HR and corporate security. All they had to do was look at the interoffice envelope to see it didn't come from here.

It did. In 1973. But it was at the other place.
