The contract processing is a total nightmare at IBM, and too many people are involved. If IBM was serious about AI they would replace all these folks with AI... now the question is, does the IBM AI work at all?

Honestly we can do 100k reduction and still be okay. If you really look at what people do at work, it’s just digital paper pushing.

@OP

If wishes were horses, beggars would ride and the IBM CIO which is top heavy with useless and clueless Senior and Middle Managers would start with the trimming the fat starting with the loser Joanne Wright, and then lose at least 50% of those azz-kissers. After all, what useful function do any of them do, especially Mr. Cloud Bulls--tter on steroids ? Save a ton of money by axing them pronto.

More people continue to buy online. The footprint of these big box stores is huge. The tariffs and a slow down in spending is taking effect. Right now, it is a slow time of year. We'll see more layoffs as financing costs continue to climb with rising health insurance premiums and borrowing costs. Target needs a lot of help. It's squeezed between Amazon and Walmart like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and right now it tastes like s_h_i_t
