After about ten months, I finally landed an offer. I sent roughly 130 applications, had about 20 recruiter chats, and survived three long final rounds before I got the coveted yes. I can’t even begin to explain how much of a burden off my chest that is. It wasn’t fast, but it happened.

I cannot believe how cruel some of the responders have been
In case you haven’t noticed, cruelty has been the order of the day for the last six months.
I cannot believe how cruel some of the responders have been with their comments. Humorous, but cruel.
@OP Good for you. Message to the rest of us, we are fu---d and we know it. Going to be a slog especially since most of us are middle range mediocre Intel. Yeah will get lots of downvotes on the truth. Stuck in portland with no real options like most of us.
I don't believe the I don't believe guy believes in his I don't believe post.
Congrats!
The negative comments are from old ACT layoff losers and AMD employees
I don’t believe reply posters on this thread ever had a life
depending on the economic conditions
the company can fire you in the 1st week, 1st month, 1st 6 months, and so on
ethics is completely gone nowadays
Congratulations on your new job at McDonald OP. It must be better for your future than working at ShitTel. Lucky for you they didn’t find out you just escaped from a sh---y place.
Congratulations!
Serious question, did the severance you received from Intel cover your costs during the 10 months or did you have to dip into savings? A lot of people hang around hoping to get the package but should really be looking while they still have a job. It really is easier to get a new job while you still have a job.
I don't believe OP is so excited about working for Home Depot.
Don't worry, you'll be laod off again next week when the market crashes due to Capitalism.
Congratulations OP! You are like in the 1%. No one wants to hire former Intel folks. The vast majority of folks laid off a year or so ago are still trying with very little success.
