@OP do you know why this ELT does not care about the company ?
A really successful company is where the founder is still the CEO. See Elon, Jensen, Zuck, Bezos (for the longest time), Jobs and Woz (with Apple for the longest time). We have ELT who are essentially employees like you and me. They care as much as we care. About paychecks. Tomorrow they can get fired like you and me but the difference is they have made millions and we have not. ELT does not care and will never care as long they are not the founders and our ELT does not have the intelligence to be the founder of a sock company
Chambers taking $1 salary while pocketing $100M in stock is about the same as Trump working for free and amassing $3.4B in his first 6 months. Those are just gestures to fool the d-mb which is way to many for sure.
Former Cisco CEO, John Chambers, took a $1/year salary after the company's very first layoff in April 2001. It was the right thing to do.

The ELT wants you to keep saying No more excuses for another 10 years when they retire and then another set of ELT and employees will come in and say the same thing. Nothing will ever happen. Keep saying No more excuses like we are okay with what they have done so far if they change
Why? Cisco doesn't have a money problem. Neither does Oracle or Microsoft or any of the other LR-happy companies.
CR and company are already paid peanuts compared to their peers at other tech companies. I'm not advocating for raises here, they don't deserve FAANG-level exec pay, just saying that CR doesn't rate on the list of tech FU money.
We need NEW execs, not differently-paid execs. I'd be happy to give the ELT real FU money if they actually delivered.
Our director told us we will not be hiring any time soon. I'm not sure how much more I can take working at this crazy place. The ELT is getting millions a year for just being faces but the workforce keeps getting reduced. Managers are now being looked at for how many full-time reports they have to see if they worth keeping around. Strange times.
When will the promotion/hike letters be released for high performers India teams? I heard that it will start before 18th.
The ELT does not believe in the company, they simply want YOU to believe in the company. They believe only in themselves which is why they refer to themselves as "your leadership" (cringe!)
For proof just count how may former "leaders" now work for competitors.
