@bm In my area, AIP went away a few years back already. I will be so disappointed if we get less 401K matching and Less PTO. I know several people who work for UHC and Guardian and their benefits are better than ours already, so reducing our benefits will not match industry standards.
Rumor is...less PTO...less 401k match...less reason to stick around. With less 401k matching and less PTO...it will be easier/cheaper to do mass layoffs in the future. Only question is...when is AIP going away...you know that has to be near.
I can vouch that Jason Marlowitz couldn't lead himself out of a wet paper bag. How a contractor turns into a VP is some shady business, especially when you reported to the opposite gender before getting that position. If you know, you know.
@aq yes, when it takes 15 minutes to say that benefits will align with industry standard and they do this every year you know its going to be bad.
@am middle school comparison is being nice. Yes cronyism management who are playing with their kids, vacationing, or refusing to learn one EMR bc another one is coming in. Useless but bachelor degrees and paid more than masters degrees.
Benefits details coming on 09/10. They prepared us today for some not so great changes to be announced. No details though.
In our area we have not been given the ERP dates yet.
@ac I agree entirely with this but the problem is that the vast majority of people have 4 years or less based on market openings. What would be most effective is that all leadership positions would be RIFFed and start from scratch. CW leadership is terrible, most were hired in as friends, RN's with limited intelligence are in leader positions, and the catty games played are much like middle school. I'm in west div and I was told that the east div director is being forced to take erp. That's a good start.
Humana or at least one arm of it (Centerwell/Conviva) is the most inefficient organization that I have ever been a part of. They would do good by reducing everyone who has more than 10 years of experience. Absolute sh-t show and I l’d be willing to bet the farm that Jim Rechtin knows it.
@OP a friend's manager just old her that retirement dates are being pushed back into October, and that the CEO "is sorry." Can anyone else verify this? I was hoping my end date was 9/26/25 with zero communication from anyone.
