Maybe get some friends outside of work so you don't have to go the office to have a life?
@cx, I love all your self-upvoting.
"...Sooner or later you are going to have to leave mom's basement." - @DC
We do, right before you get home from school.
The President works from home. The Royal Monarchs work from home.
But the peasants can't?
@dc, then, tell your mother to let me go!
@da I dunno, you sound like one of those girlie boiz who can't seeem to work in a team environment. Sooner or later you are going to have to leave mom's basement.
As Todd Rundgren once said:
"I don't don't wanna work...I just wanna WFH all day"
@cx+1k34myxq2, Ms. Schadenfreude, you sound juvenile, petty, and jealous of people in better situations. If you want their life, envy won't get it, you have to take action to improve your own lot in life.
@d0 The stock is down 24% over the last five years! Nice try.
1 step forward, and three steps back, 1 step forward and 2 steps back...
@cs I'm trying to ignore that VZ is up 12% ytd but it's not easy.
I love all of the little girlie girz and soy boiz crying that they will actually have to look someone in the eye or actually work together as a team instead of being an insane 'army of one'.
If you want to know why the stock goes nowhere but sideways or down go look in the mirror.
If you can't show up and work with other people, you will be gone soon and will not be missed. Bye!

With such a charming personality, no wonder folks have to be forced in, to work alongside you. I can't imagine anyone willing, given any other alternative.
Debatable. Performance management is as non-existent as "leadership" integrity. And every day that I linger on payroll is another day of damage I do around me.
Catch me if you can, bootlicker!

I won't leave. I won't be any more productive than I have to and even that will contain deliberate but suble errors that will require rework down the road. I won't be helpful to others and surely will never volunteer any information that's not directly requested of me. I will actively seek out ways to waste all manner of corporate resources.
But hey, I'll be doing it all in-person and that's the only thing that seems to matter now. Yay team!
@OP This seems to be the business strategy to start voluntary lay offs. Employees choice doesn’t make the company look bad having forced layoffs. If not enough leave, I would look for layoffs.
While you can find pros and cons of remote work, most studies do not show it to be less productive.
It's broken English guy ( @ar+1k34myxq2 ) returning like Lazarus.
How you been since 2016?
You said, "Right you are!" to yourself. - chuckle
You always talk to yourself like you're doing in all these self-responses?
I hope people protest any end of WFH..I make a lot on the side while VZ pays me a nice steady salary . Not sure I can swing my side job while at the office
@ar Right you are! This is part of the reason customer service stinks along with the lack of team effort. Like it or not, telecom is a team sport. If you can't play on the team then get out. You are paid well to be on this team, and you were selected over others, but can be replaced.
Be there or be gone!
Fighting office returning is rubbish. No excusing any day more! Selfish reasoning not work needing!
You are all easily replaceable in this market. But you won't find anywhere else to pay you as much as they do for the little that you actually have to do for them to get it. Bye!
See you at the picket line at penn2. Verizon’s new headquarters
The party is over. Back to work!
