I want those times back.

First year or so after the Fiserv-CheckFree combination was the last time it was fun. The old Norcross (CheckFree) campus was actually designed and operated to drive employee satisfaction, and more than a few of us original Fiserv people did our very best to become part of THAT family. But the passage of time and the rise of the centralized technology organization put an end to any sense of autonomy and employee-centricity...
Fiserv/FDR has never been a great company and it will never become one - outside of buying awards every year, this is the single most unethical organization I have ever encountered - great place if you have zero integrity and no moral compass - FB built a culture of backstabbing, constant layoffs, surveillance, along with shady business practices and ML now has to the rest of his career attempting to right the ship
I don't but I'm only 63. It's always been sh-t.
Maybe some of you pioneers can reminisce about the good ol' days of yore.
@OP CheckFree was a truly great company. Fiserv bought us and did minor layoffs due to overlap but wasn’t terrible like the Fiserv we have today mostly because it’s like First Data acquired Fiserv even though We had to absorb the bankruptcy FB had driven FirstData into
I was with original Fiserv for 15 years, I left about 3 years ago. I don't know if I would ever have called it great. We had some fun times. But it really depended on the business unit you worked in. Good and fun years, yes. Great, no they never really seemed to care about the employees in that time period from a corporate standpoint at least.
I would like to see an unedited, honest opinion comment from Les Muma. I am sure he must still have some Fiserv stock leftover.
I remember that too. 2 days at home and they treated us like adults.
That was pre FDR and KKR.
