When will Humana wise up and realize how many of their people have second jobs or spend part of their day doing everything but their job? Secondly why is an LPN (with a second job) and no managerial experience or advanced degree being placed in a job when a qualified RN with an advanced degree AND management experience overlooked? Lots of issues at Humana. They are losing their best people.

I thought the timing of the engagement survey and the announcement on the early retirement package was really sneaky of Humana. If we knew then what we know now, I bet our answers would be different! How many of us really choose answers that were true. With only two of us reporting to the leader, it would not be hard to figure out whose answers were from whom.
The business area I work under is being centralized and I've been down this road twice before at Humana.
I received the email and I am taking the early retirement package. I'll wait until the August 11th deadline to click the button.
God speed everyone.
@OP Is the LPN cozy with a decision maker? Humana is really who you know or who you b low
@OP people with 2 year degrees making more than masters' level..and getting 10k sign on bonus...question salaries and you are scolded and reminded of rifs around the corner. It s that time of year again..cycle of townhalls, survey, be ready to embrace change, rifs, wait 6 months for an answer on bonus.
You'd be surprised how involved and time consuming it is to work within the I. T. side of Humana. Just for clarity about "slackers".
@OP everything about Humana and who gets what and for what job is wrong on so many levels and always has been. LPN for any management job is wrong. Don't try to make any sense of it all or you will just drive yourself crazy.
