Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Common Area Squatters

Can anything be done about people squatting in common areas? There’s one dude on the 6th floor in Alpharetta who sits in a conference room all day everyday.

These spaces are meant for everyone,

I’m pretty sure we have plenty of cubicles. If you’re important enough to need an office, I’m sure one could be provided.

@OP if you are like me you may have a medical condition that requires daily use of spaces like this. You can’t judge if you don’t know.🤷🏻‍♀️

If you are referring to people clogging up the reserve-room spaces you have a valid criticism. However, if you are referring to the many people who chose to work in the aisle cubes then no, you do not have a valid criticism. There are more than enough of these aisle cubes for everyone, which is proven by simple observation (there are always empty aisle cubes everyday, all throughout the day). I tend to prefer working in the aisle cubes because there I can actually concentrate on work, without needing to be bombarded by the non-stop, noisy, chitchat as people talk about their personal lives. You need to let employees do what they can to do what they are hired to do...that being...helping Fiserv be successful and productive. And expecting everyone to be locked at their designated seats is d-mb. REALLY d-mb.

Coming soon...badge swipes at your desk. And notice we say desk...many locations don't even have the privilege of having a cube anymore.

When Alpharetta first RTO, there was not enough cubes. I’m assuming it’s just habit for him now.

Milwaukee has this problem. If you are supposed to be at a desk, be at your desk.

This happens in BH too. Worse is if people also reserve the room for the whole days, use it 30 minutes.

Is office or desk space even available for the person? You know how they herded us in office without thinking through adequate office space to force an archaic policy.

Why bring your petty insignificant office squabbles here? Do you also want to complain about the coffee maker while you're at it?
