Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Complaining about work is normal, but perspective helps

My unemployed neighbor would ki-l for our problems. That said, "it could be worse" shouldn't stop us from making things better. We can be grateful while still pushing for improvement.

OP, while I can appreciate your optimism, but I’m guessing you haven’t been here very long. Trying to make things better or offering suggestions for improvements is kinda like spitting in to the wind; it’s not a good idea because it will just sm--k you right back in the face.

EL and upper management don’t care what you think. Most here have learned to just shut their mouth and to do what they are told, we are in survival mode. It’s a sad state of affairs and it didn’t have to be that way.

@OP I have a feeling you are fairly new. I appreciate your optimism, they use that to their advantage not the teammates'. Things will not get better until there is a housecleaning and change at the top. To them, everything is fine even though you know it is not. Give it time, something will happen to you or you will witness something that reveals the rot.
