Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

If I get fired do I still get paid the same like the rifs

If I get fired do I get 2 weeks pay for every year employed with Humana. At this point if I do I’ll take it.

No!!! People would try to get fired all the time if this were the case.

I'm really not sure it's even possible to be fired from Humana at this point. I'm still here and they're none the wiser, after all

No. Severance gets paid out if you’re part of a RIF or get offered early retirement.

If you’re terminated(fired) you don’t get severance and will be lucky if Humana doesn’t fight your unemployment!!

@OP sadly we are all so beaten down many are at that point. The writing on the wall also is more shifts, staff having to report and track data even when the workflows will fail then we are left holding the bag of waste: wasted energy years time trainings and effort.

How many years do you have in? If it's a low number, then your severance if you were to get one would be low (you won't) but if you have a lot of years, why would you want to be fired instead of leaving on your own and using your experience on your resume?

No. you don't get 2 weeks if you're fired. Need to be RIFed to get 2 weeks.
