If you have the suspicion that you are about to be laid off, do your video call from your phone if at all possible. Disable any network connectivity on your laptop and you will have access to all of your local files even if your account gets limited/shut off during the layoff VC, and you will have that access until you reconnect to the internet. It worked in 2017 anyway..
I'm not suggesting anyone steal proprietary information. If you have personal stuff on your machine and can't get it off before your access is limited or revoked, then you will need to provide nike with all of the filenames you want retrieved, from memory. Just a word to the wise.
