Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

RTO monitoring

I’m aware that our managers can see when we are logged in to the HUB network and that we are to be in the office three day per week. What has not been clarified is how many hours do we need to be logged into the HUB network. There is a fine line on monitoring hours given that a great deal of us are salary non-exempt. We get paid our salary regardless of how many hours we work.

Elfio- Shower us with your words of wisdom on this subject…

They might be tracking it but haven't added it as an official goal yet...seems to vary by department. Some of us have TTUS survey participation as one of our WD performance goals as well...I'm hearing others don't. U.S. Bank likes to push their bs forward in increments.

No, I don’t have one. Not sure if I have been looking in the wrong places for it as I have went through Workday and MyHR. It should probably be very easy to find if I had one.

Do you have a RTO workday goal? From what we’ve been told that is what causes it to be tracked on the leaders RTO dashboard

Dashboards are currently limited to managers only. But if you are having to swipe in to your HUB office then it is safe to assume it's being recorded and your manager has access to it via a dashboard.

Where do I find out my RTO monitoring? I work at a HUB but there seems to be little consensus on any management looking at badge scans or attendance. I guess my question is how do I figure out if my HUB has installed the monitoring or mandatory RTO other HUBs have?

Once enough people quit or retire and they are done laying people off this RTO won't be as important.

Stop asking these types of questions before you send them back to the table for a second round of rules and restrictions. Sheesh!

"great job with benefits for you and family" Let me know if you feel this way after working tirelessly (travel, after hours issues, weekend calls, daily dealing with underperforming National Vendors) for USB for 15 plus years and they outsource your position and do not provide you SEVERENCE unless the company you were outsourced to does not hire you! At that point you "May" be eligible for Severance!
US Bank in AC few short years has turned a Company that cared, rewarded and appreciated employees under Richard Davis to a company that has over staffed and overpaid at the top for people that are not conducive to good business practices, great customer service. The moves AC and his staff are looking to reduce staff to make stock more attractive to Institutional investors!
You're just a number in this company!

Lol don't lecture me about work ethic. It would be more accurate to criticize me for working too hard for this worthless beancounting employer that will probably lay me off within next 6 months.

Stop trippin. 3 days a week is not so bad. You are a proud American just like me with a great job with benefits for you and family. Please show up timely in the office and create more value for the Team and USB! Not judging, just having a pleasant work ethic….

11 days in office per month = 100% to goal on the dashboard

It does not matter how long you are in the office (for now) and is instead just based on if you swiped your badge or not that day

Given the variability in this thread, I don't think the company has a consensus. I've only heard 4 hours called out as too little in a department meeting this year.

Maybe you should be more supportive and less judgmental. Or are you one of those people who equates being in office to working?

I heard 2 hours is sufficient. That includes bathroom breaks so it's been working out for me rather well.

How difficult is it to go to work 3 days a week? We are Bankers! Who mostly get weekends off, w/ bank holidays, My Holiday and a generous paid sick time per yearly!
Let’s be supportive and just show up to work! It’s so simple…….If not, then see you Felicia!!!! Wish you luck.
P.S….it is not always green to the other side .
Sincerely,
3 Decades Plus FTE @USB

Um...salary non exempt means you DO get paid overtime. I think you meant exempt (meaning, you get salary and are exempt from overtime pay regardless of hours worked).

I've heard about six hours per work day.
