Why is it when a fresh manager find some out of dates in bakery they have to call the GM over and make a lead look like they don't do their job and trying to make themselves look good? 😒

Poor management. If there are out of dates in a fresh area then the fresh manager failed. Plan and simple. Where do they get applauded for their shortcomings???

Our Club "donates" bakery products that are at their use by date and stale to a local food shelf. I have yet to hear of anyone's health at risk by consuming this free food. Bakery product in my Club has a high turnover, so it isn't a mighty task for associates to patrol product ready to expire. But, when you are short staffed, some tasks aren't the highest priority.
So you'd rather sell people stale and potentially dangerous food to customers in the middle of a pandemic, putting their health at risk?
Shame on you.
Usually those who tattle on others aren't very intelligent and their maturity level is still in middle school. Or, by revealing mistakes of others, they somehow or another think this will overshadow their mistakes and misdeeds.
This is a lay-off site. Why do associates get on here and complain?
If you have out of dates you are not doing your job.
Because the company made all fresh asst. apply for their jobs back in 2017 and replaced anyone that had experience and replaced them with young a$$ kissers and gave them a big raise to boot!
Because this company has nothing but petty people. It makes themselves feel good when they go home to their miserable lives at night. That’s why!
