Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Where is the wage increase?

Who is in control of employee wage decisions? They need to lose their job. How can this company justify drastically increasing their own prices immediately when inflation kicks in, but doesn't do anything at all for their own employees pay?

No wonder new hires abandon Verizon. There is no value to working here.

@7yid+1kc90R5K actually top selling rep in my store and constantly making top performing in my district. Funny how you call me stupid but can't even spell the word you washed up troll. Everyone else can see what's going on and most aren't spineless and callow like you to call out the truth. You sound like a sycophant who has to ingratiate to get recognition instead of putting in the work....just saying...

I agree! The commission structure and pay has gone to complete sh-t! All perks besides basic benefits have been taken, our stocks have tanked, quotas are out of touch, hours being cut, and clueless careless sh-t leadership. They reward useless management for taking calls while taking everything away from front line while demanding more! Us Frontline soldiers are making all the sales and constantly get less and less for performing more and more. This company is fu---d up lately. Used to be a proud place to work but now it's a dumpster fire! We need real leaders, not Hans and his cheap garbage a-s and a bunch of yes yuppies allowing this company to fall to sh-t. We are a sinking titanic and captain Hans and his crew of flunkies steered us square into the iceberg of failure. They need to go back to rewarding the front line and cut some of the more useless departments that don't contribute to revenue. It's so embarrassing and so many people have become clerks instead of sales people and its due to lack of pay and incentives.

We don't want you to stay.
If you're (still) complaining about the commission structure, you're either too st00pid to get it, or nobody else will hire you. That's REALLY sad in this economy.

@gsc, don't hold your breath. The union only cares about such things when it's negotiation time. You're locked in until the contract is up. That's how they approach most things.

Of course they haven't increased our wages. That's BAU for them. My store is union. Our wages are dictated by the contract. The real question is why hasn't the union stepped up? We haven't heard a peep from them. They're the ones we hired to protect us.
