"I don't care anymore if it solves the problem or not. I just want to punish these deadbeats."

This is not a solution to VZ or to your personal issues. You can't "punish" anyone but yourself. VZ insurance does cover therapy and counseling.

@6ymz- one in 20 years, huh?
Since we started WFH, at least 85% of the people I NEED to interact with are nowhere to be found. Calls go to VM, IM's, texts and e-mails take at least an hour to get a response... if they're not ignored completely. The funny thing is, they'll complain about how hard it is to get hold of people THEY need to talk to!
My deliverables now go out at least an hour and a half late simply because I can't reach the people I need to complete my job.
I don't care anymore if it solves the problem or not. I just want to punish these deadbeats.

“ It’s time for employees to RTO, theses problems need to be handled face to face. I’m tired of trying to get a hold of a colleague and never get a response back. Cause either there getting there nails done or driving there kid to practice.”

In the last twenty years I once had a coworker in the same office. I saw same office but if they bothered coming it at all roughly seven years ago they’d be off socializing on some other floor and never working. Even when I was in a big group all in the office there were people doing nothing all day

RTO isn’t going to help as long as having more people means more money/power for leaders. They’d rather have bad headcount than less headcount.

There are bunch of posts about a sale to Brightspeed. That's exactly what they are doing. Use fixed wireless instead of fiber. That way you get rid of the union headaches. If your union you should see a package offer by end of year. They want to get as many as possible off payroll before the sale.

Their plan is to go 100% wireless with their C-band combo 5g router that just came out a couple of weeks ago and seems to work well, larger coverage area and penetration.the plan to sc--w over the wireline side of the company.major surplus will come by the end of the year in all field positions...they may even sell the wireline off.who know everyone is hush hush about everything..

  1. These
  1. Because either they're getting their nails done or driving their kid to practice.

After reading some of these responses, it would be more beneficial to VZ employees to push the tuition assistance program instead of RTO.

RTO generalization(s): not all the apples in the bushel are bad apples.

Need to find the bad apples and toast them to resolve the issue and to make it a better and more equitable leveled-playing field.

Vzw is on its way down. Already down leadership su-ks. They all sleep with each other and stroke each other's ego, and blame those on the bottom. Never trust leadership, hr, they will lie and betray you.

Lack of vision and innovation. It all comes from the top. At the bottom, everyone is mired in the status quo. The shuffling of VPs and Directors is just lipstick on a pig.

Here's and idea go back in time and don't buy vodaphones shares when your already cash strapped, Don't buy yahoo, Don't buy AOL, don't spend on go90, reduce don't increase CEO's pay. All obvious decisions even before they were made yet management still raking in the money even though they completely and utterly failed. So until that changes the company is doomed there is no incentive to do better.

No wonder why everyone leaves or retires.
Lean and mean doesn’t pay enough to put food on the table
The price to commute to work for a lean and mean workplace is not worth it

What/ Incomprehensible: Lean and mean do we can buy companies and make them fail?????

Nothing to do with buying companies and making them fail.

Verizon needs to be lean and mean from an operations efficacy whereby increasing operating profit margin == for every one dollar of revenue received.

SMH!!!!

Immediately stop defections!!!!

Affluent and older, VZ has a higher tier of customers, in contrast to its competitors, AT&T and T-Mobile and the cable companies, waiting to defect.

Stellar customer service.

SMH!!! This is in itself the US $100B question!

Bottom line (1): generate more and more free cash flow as fast as possible to reduce the unthinkable, huge and enormous corporate debt. Therefore, reduce all corporate expenses, to be lean and mean.

Bottom line (2): maintain and sustain the quarterly corporate dividend and when/if, as soon as possible, increase the quarterly dividend.

Time for Han's to approve quarterly pizza parties for all employees. Pizza from small mom & pop joints, managers can provide ice, soda pop, cups, plates and napkins. This is what all V-teamrrs want and need, do it now Han's.
