@61gz Executive management has no clue that they are losing some great leaders right now because they are the ones with options. All this other dead weight just sticks around.
@5pvd, I 100% share your belief. What I am bout to say reflect my experience and mine alone so remember that, phonies, before you jump in with your f—ing awesome experience trying to refute mine. We work for the most unethical organization on the planet. We work with so many backstabbers and dumb–ses it is astonishing. It is like Nike, at some point, was running an experiment to see what happens when you put so many mo–ns in one place. Here is the kicker, 90% of the mo–n do work for especially at the Sr. Director level. F— NIKE and PLEASE go ahead and f—ing lay me off.
If you think they are not going to clean house at the Sr. Director and Director level sometime in 2021 you are crazy. They are giving all the new VP’s time to figure out who they want to cut. My guess they do it in April so they don’t have to pay PSP.
First there’s layoffs and rumors of layoffs, then gas lighting followed by flashy shiny objects (LOOK over here) then rinse and repeat.....
The content and delivery of that departmental meeting added fuel to fire the concerns of layoffs in GT more than anything.
I noticed a couple weeks ago all the poland job postings got pulled down. Wonder if they are having a issue there.
I listened to the GOT call today, Every call has a changing story it seems. We know technology is opening 5 new locations (China, Poland, India, Atlanta, San Francisco). 90% of tech is currently located in the Beaverton area. I do think Beaverton will see a change in the employment level. I'm guessing it is taking longer than they thought to set up these new locations. As a employee in the Beaverton area this s—s. As a Nike share holder I understand the cost cutting action. We will know by July 2021 or before were everything falls.
People were also told they were safe in Direct and then came the Kraken. Stay pragmatic.
