POD specialists all trying to sell their own products at a customer no harmony or coordination
Specialists make mess then hide in other regions
AI first using gong to send email campaigns which have spelling mistakes are clearly ai written and spam customers
@af tell me more about the POD model and AI first - interested in learning her methodology due to possible future impact but can’t say more
@5ef surprised they didn’t try to fire up her understudy to replace. That VP role in GVS has been a revolving door for years., who would ever want to take that job? You know you’re gone within 2-3 years and won’t be at the company anymore but hey at least you got VP on the CV.

Agreed reality is we became a very expensive call center

Grade 7s and Grade 9s
FY27 they'll probably get rid of the older meraki sellers
We should all just be looking for other roles, the only goal with all of this was to reduce cost ie salary. She messed up and was pushed out or left and now we are now a Cisco telesales agency. We are now call centre agents disguised as "Account Executives"

Many at Meraki left to smaller startups like Meter and then to Amazon Eero.
Meraki cloud is still doing fine. They got this old code sitting in their code repository. They need to hire and make it new generation.
Cisco is still doing fine in wireless. Meraki is well known and proven in wireless market.

They left Meraki alone and successful for a long time after the acquisition. Everyone knew once Cisco integrated them it would F up everything. If they integrated it right away like they did VIptela, Meraki may very well be gone by now.

@ah Saw the writing on the wall and jumped? LOL she's the one that destroyed the org with her id--tic POD model / AI first approach. Customers, partners, Cisco employees....everyone hated it and just kept pretending like it's great.
