Do you know how does the actual act of communicating that you've been laid off happen? What do they tell you? How long does it take?
Thank you?

When they do it it will be with your manager and your HRBP. Your manager will invite you to a meeting of course it will be made to seem like a regular meeting but a few minutes in they will give you the news. Word to the wise: treat every meeting with your direct manager as if that's the meeting. It can happen to anyone at any time.
@4gjf+16bHNR0F regarding saving pics, you may want to try snapfish, there is no cost and you can save your pics to their server for free. I’ve been using it for over 15yrs, makes it easy.
In the event that I’m let go, I tried saving numerous pictures saved to my laptop on a usb drive, but it doesn’t work. This must have been recently disabled because I’ve always used the usb drives at work. So now I’m emailing them to my personal email address.🙄
When they call, be like George Constanza:

Expect you will be able to keep your company phone. Due to COVID concerns the amount of property they attempt to collect back will be limited - just laptops probably.
@op catch up my friend OR Corp comms, stop trying to bury other threads.
