How is morale in the Alabama Region?

David Weaver is getting exactly what he deserves!
P Diddy is an innocent man
Mortgage is essentially gone.
@3zfz+1rFiwdiN Bingo. As you said it is truly happening across all regions of CCB. The mid-atlantic book in general (PA/MD/VA etc.) is getting absolutely decimated too. And like you said it's bleeding badly. Total assets will continue to shrink. C-suite knows the sooner they entertain offers the better. Community banks are absolutely nabbing CCB clients left and right no contest.
Basically I'm repeating everything you said lol.
It’s happening in all areas of the community bank and Bill and the BOD do not care. All they care about is the investment banking arm. The PNC’s, Pinnacles, Regions are picking customers up left and right. Florida is getting hammered as well. The sooner this bank is gobbled up the better it will be for everyone. Slow bleed of deposits and customers is going to get worse. Number 6 bank at merger already down to number 8. Huntington hasn’t even acquired a real presence in the Carolinas yet but they’re coming.
The RP retired. The vast majority of the team has resigned in the past 90 days and Wealth is essentially gone through RIF and resignations. Huntsville market leader is retired as is Mobile. Outside of branches probably under 20 remain in the state but exits are never acknowledged.
We’re expecting a slow downturn since Saban has retired
The Alabama RP retired. The announcement came out a week or so ago. Looked like he had been in the industry for many years so probably just decided to hang it up.
Suntrust always uses the mushroom theory. Keep you in the dark and sh*t on you!
Amazing that we have to come to this site to confirm who in regional leadership has left and there has been 0 communication except the grapevine about major changes in the Region. It is like….if a tree falls and no one is in the forest, does it make a sound…. If leadership departures are not talked about does it really happen. I think it is cr-ppy that this information is not shared formally. I mean I don’t think we need to know details but isn’t it a bad look when as part of the retail team you handout a business card and then you find out that they are no longer with the bank.
The slow bleed of talent has sped up greatly in recent months. HBBT people have left in mass or been riffed. The more hSTI taking over leadership the worse this bank gets.
Unfortunately, the Regional President who was highly thought of by both teammates and clients has resigned. Another significant talent loss for Truist.
The heritage BB&T commercial team held together as good or better than any other region of the Bank until about a year ago. Then one by one, people started leaving here and there. Since the first of the year, people have resigned in mass.
There is no morale. There’s almost nobody left on the commercial and wealth sides.
Don’t bother trying to use a branch.
They have no staff. Every one is closed “temporarily”
Yeah Dontae! DEI is working
Horace used to have that piece locked DOWN!!!
Truist has bankers in Alabama? Who knew…
