@3jxn+1kNEHl6R .. Exactly Fiserv begins these critical infrastructure projects hires consultants then at end of quarter lets them go!! Seens it many times now we just get them up to speed then bo-m gone no warning. The incompetence of leadership is mind boggling. Unfortunately, until there is a major failure where c-suite execs are pushed on their swords by the KKR lot the madness is never ending.
@3jxn+1kNEHl6R
Truer words were never spoken!
LMAO. With which people/resources? Not many with that skillset wants to join Fiserv and Fiserv doesn't have a track record of training current ones
Funny part is may working on such projects were laid off end of last year
Also directly from PL's mouth: Our clients are happy.
@3eef+1kNEHl6R 30-40% of all applications to be migrated to Microsoft's cloud (Azure).
Good way to burn $$$. Whatever happened to the IBM Watson project... Guess that didn't work, so now, going after the shiny object... ChatGPT... Nextup we will see more Microsoft, as they hold 49% stake now with OpenAI and get enslaved.
AI has been listening to support calls for 18+ months. Their plan is for it to be implemented soon. Directly from PL’s mouth that it was occurring and the purpose.
Didn’t Microsoft have a AI chatbot named Tay? Learned tons of stuff in 24 hours of its brief netizen life. So this tech is franks idea to replace customer service?
How do you replace the service staff with AI when core systems are largely custom? AI answer you don't. Gets back to the lack of understanding the Fiserv business model by Frank and his yes men (women would ask questions lol). As has been stated here many times over the past last 2+ years you're not going to replace thousands of man years of experience with AI or oversees by tossing it out the door.
They can't get a badge-in report to accommodate vacation or holidays. Maybe they can get the AI to start working on that?
Management was talking about this a few months back. When they fired all the customer service people, they used this as the talking point saying we would be ok. Thing is it takes time for AI to be trained. Go ask ChatGPT what it takes. It will give you an honest answer unlike our company.
HAH! AI=Automatic Id--t
