Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Those who replaced laid off employees

I wouldn't want to offend anyone, but it is simply unbelievable that some of the best employees who were laid off were replaced with people who hardly know what they are doing. Where is this all going?

Care Plus “new director” had thirty years experience in CNFL markets. By far the best Director of health services around. She has since moved on to a VP role in Medicaid. So two new directors in that area within a couple of months!

If you've been with Humana very long you've learned or you will that they do not care about anyone's job. They say all the right things and every new initiative is "exciting" so they keep telling you. They do not do any forward planning on how to keep from riffing anyone because it is easy to just cut and replace later. It is cold business without fo-e thought. Just how it is.

They also promote people that do nothing.

It's all going as planned. Lower cost. Trained puppies could do most of the jobs anyhow.
