Regulatory action over what? What is there to even regulate?
@3rkg+1aHBIpdN - this experience is quite common . I have the same type of experience I was told I was the in final two . They ended up getting a woman from outside / I was just fooled . This happened to me twice in the last 9 months. I see a regulatory action looming over cheating with employees.
If you’re looking internally, be careful. I had one interview with a group and two weeks pass, I never heard anything. Apparently about that time the hiring manger decided to reach out directly to my manager (without my knowledge or permission) to notify her that I had been identified as a leading candidate. They of course start looking for my replacement and pretty much write me off.
A week goes by and I’ve still heard nothing. Recruiter calls me yesterday to tell me that they decided to go with another candidate, and he didn’t seem to understand why I was angry.
I interviewed for 3 jobs which ultimately went to the contractors working on those teams. The reason for my rejection, I didn’t know their internal tool 😀
Transparency? Since when? I think they would resist that since it would shine a light on a lot of executive nepotism hirings.
This is the finance world. It's close-knit enough, and the stakes are high enough, that we tend to hire people we already know are good if we can. Who wouldn't take a sure bet if they could?
All Wells Fargo job openings are fake because they are only for advertisement following the Wells Fargo HR bureaucratic paper goddess. Wells Fargo corporate elites management secretly identified friends, cousins, neighbors, consultants and allies who pass through backdoor for the FTE positions. Wells Fargo is a swamp will never go away.
@ mjn, so true! They asked me 5 questions in 30 mins... that’s all. What about my skills? Don’t you want to know about them? Internal interview process so(u)cks.
If a job is posted in America its fake, if its India they want to hire 5 not 1. He's Mexican so I give him credit for rising above teller. Charlie though is likely having him work on D&I dance videos and oddball pronoun usage training.
But wouldn't that raise a whole bunch of questions around how he got hired....?

No. He's too busy sending out communications about the new DEI site they implemented and other "important" work he and his team are doing to justify their existence.
