Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Hans, do the honorable thing - RIF yourself and retire from corporate life

Hans, your stay at Verizon is both unwelcome and undignified. You have now damaged your second corporation, impacting thousands of lives on two different sides of the world. Maybe you should consider permanent, corporate retirement. You must have enough money to live the rest of your life in comfort. Allow the rest of us to suggest what you obviously won't recognize on your own, you are not cut out to lead large corporations with any measure of success. Your disastrous leadership at Ericsson and now Verizon are proof enough for anyone with any reasonable sense of intelligence. Please, GO NOW!

You all are missing the point. Hans is here to RIF and outsource for short term gains; he was hired to be terrible and unpopular. Once all the meat is gnawed off the bone he'll leave with the promised fortune and the next leader will blame it all on Hans without making any changes.

I agree. He’s single handedly done more for the company than any leader prior. A superior leader!

Hans is the best thing that ever happened to the company. He is a brilliant leader and visionary. Everyone should be thankful for his immeasurable talent and forward thinking. 5G will revolutionize this planet and it will be lead by Hans!

As a long time employee I can say things went downhill since Hans took over. Especially the outsourcing of Customer Service, Tech Support, and IT to India and Philippines. Customers are blind transferred round and round in circles. Systems have significant issues which are never resolved. Then a new flawed system is launched. Then an “enterprise release” comes out to make the systems even worse.

"Lots of miserable employees these days" I actually moved my lines to Tmobile and those guys don't look stressed out or bother to be there. I went to verizon for my last bill and boy they look angry, bothered, stressed like they did not want to be there at all!!!!!

I was even told I was getting a better price and good for me LOL

So Long Verizon!!!

Can we at least lobby to remove the 'G' in the next iteration of standards to something that Hans can pronounce?
