I shouldn't be finding out there were layoffs within the company on an anonymous board. We should be hearing that from our leadership. The secrecy is destroying the little faith we might have left in those on the top. Not to mention, it's affecting morale and productivity. Tell us what's going on!

And cafeteria outsourced etws were let go for self checkout stands, way to layoff before the holidays at any level
@4hag+1pBNLUJO how “kind” of you and uninformed. The FI people let go aren’t the ones making the decisions you’re griping about, it’s the folks that do the daily work of running a critical function required at any company. Have a bit of compassion and also maybe learn more about the core functions at all companies.
@4npp+1pBNLUJO
Good riddance. Finance people are cancer to any company and prioritize rehashing the same old cr-p that they “know” will make money. Instead of pushing for innovation and coming up with the next big thing that would drive real profit.
40+ teammates from finance were laid off this past week! No transparency at all!
What email?
@3kew this post was made before that email was sent
we were told NDP had a "reorg". so there is some transparency
Common, gettin transparency from Nike leadership is like expecting Adidas to po-p out Michael Jordan. It just ain’t gonna happen
My assumption is there haven’t been any communications about this because it’s not over yet.
Adapt or die. We were told “expect changes in the coming months”. And then asked “so how is everyone feeling about this?” Our “leadership “ is a joke. Drop a bo-b like this and the audacity to ask thatq question? Lol.
Making room for more DEI hires or H1Bs
This literally happens at every major company. The save the communication for the end of the layoff to let people know its over, and if your still there at that announcement you can rest easy. I've worked at several larger companies, larger than Nike, and this has always been the way layoffs are handled. Why do you expect Nike to be an different?
@ysd+1pBNLUJO
Untrue. Around 40 FTEs were let go in NDP in Monday.
Most of these "layoffs" are ETWs, outside contractors, and not Nike employees. Nothing to share with FTEs their decisions to cut back on outside vendor resources.
This is the most ‘in the dark’ I’ve ever felt with a job. And it’s completely unnecessary. I had maybe a few months of hope that things would get better and it’s just getting worse. Does anyone have the backbone to act like a leader here?
Expecting leadership from Nike leaders, isn’t it little too much to ask
