@3itk+1qFYzGbo ... VERPs for the Germans, again.... and I guarantee that they're the ones screaming the loudest about having to go back to the office. Pampered prima donnas...

Also heard the layoff rumours in the corridors of WDF and SLR but nobody could say with confidence whether it would be 5% or 10%, only the board members or L1s would know. For DE, there is a voluntary retirement plan for the colleagues who are at their last leg of retirement.

Not specific, but I also heard 10%. Will add that a German colleague shared that they expect layoffs to include roles at the mothership. This person shared insight on how DE role elimination will occur procedurally based on pension “level” (probably using wrong terminology we do not have this scenario in US).

"I am reliably told the minimum scenario is a 10% reduction, to be announced this week." Give some more details.

How do we know you're even in the company? What org are you in/who are you under?

People keep throwing figures/dates out with no backing. In the past month I've seen
3000
10000
15000

And now you with a minimum of 10%. We've also seen dates all over the place. Now guessing this week would align with last layoffs, so I'd say it's a good guess. But the numbers?

If we are about to lose minimum 10%, why not post some info anonymously for the rest of us?

@1qbp+1qFYzGbo All senior leaders are regularly asked to sign NDA's... its part of the job. Its definitely a sign that something is up... but that something may not necessarily be layoffs. Details help... Have any?

Some senior leaders have recently been asked to sign NDA’s. Connect the dots as you see fit

Stock is going up so something must be happening or about to happen which we don’t know. It cannot be going up just in the anticipation of financial results.

When wayfair announced 13% layoffs yesterday the stocks jumped more than 10%. There is a lot of crony capitalism around us.

Make sure you are wearing your radiation shields...

You can't be too careful about radiation!

Maybe. Maybe not. It’s a cr-p shoot. You’re trying to anticipate the next moves by a group of bozo’s. You can’t for one second guess what immature, inexperienced, unsophisticated clowns will do in these situations. One thing for sure… they will take the easiest, most simplistic way out. They will do what they think is in their best interest.

They most likely will be announced on Thursday’s 2023 results call. Based on last year’s rollout of layoffs, I would estimate that the affected US employees will be laid off around three weeks later. This assumes that the number of layoffs globally will be similar to 2023. They could also be much higher too
