Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Poll for current Bkfld employees

How many are planning on retiring or are planning on getting new job when Bkfld employees are moved to Mke and how many years of experience at fiserv do you have? I'll start, over 25 years and yes, planning on leaving.

Many will leave when it’s finally done. Many are coming back it seems as well. Part of the business being sold after the move seems likely as well. And life goes on.

Shouldn't the parents be taking the kids to school? Maybe things are different at Frank's house.

The truth is most of our clients are now remote or hybrid. They do not agree with the RTO and many were offended at Forum when Frank said that “Kids should see their parents going to work each day instead of sitting at home”. Ridiculous….

Working on lining up a new job when the move happens. Fiserv going to be loosing a lot of knowledge, but that doesn't bother them these days so oh well, su-ks to be the clients I guess. I feel bad for them. I've been on plenty of client calls and not once have they mentioned being happy about staff in the office or anything of the likes, what they have said is they are worried about the turnover and loosing so much knowledge.

'What makes more financial sense...putting the money to renovate a place one currently owns or using the money to lease property and parking garage?'

And still have the original monstrosity of a building and land that's now becomes empty.

More like, it isn’t understandable to someone with no understanding.

Actually it makes no sense to move. Maintaining and supporting a huge vacant property only makes sense to someone with no sense.

Staying and looking forward to it. 23 years. We are moving because Brookfield is an old, dark, crumbling facility in middle of nowhere. Makes sense to be downtown near Bucks arena and where other companies are relocating to from the burbs. Milwaukee is a city on the up.

Surely events of the past week have shown in this country you are as at risk of violent crime in a small town as you are in a big city.

The downtown building will provide a better profit margin for the ClearTouch sale.

What's the plan for the BKF building after the move? I don't get why they would do all this to move 15 minutes down the road.
