Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Is he done adding to Charlie Company

Does CS have enough former top cats from JPM on his inner squad, or will he layoff a few dozen more of us so he can add a crony and secure some more life long return favors?

The funny thing about Charlie is that he is known as a cost cutter. Nothing could be further from the truth. He does cut heads but every senior executive leader that he hires makes at least the equivalent of 50 displaced independent contributors.

Charlie essentially makes the corporations which he’s headed more too heavy. The problems are invariably left to his successors.

@1qdj+1esluntB jobs are definitely worked out before any post or any chance of any one else really getting them. Political hires. Also, what does a B Daley or a Charlie approved DEI chief do, really?

There's no limit to how many they will hire. Often times these gigs aren't even posted. People with job agents set up for their entire business group mysteriously never get a notification that a job has been posted and then suddenly there's a new leader being announced. Imagine that.

It is pretty sad that i heard on one of Sauls directs that they were waiting to onboard x number of new directs to complete his leadership team because we move faster with the reorg. I was shocked more leaders at that level and all it means one more of them and they have to lose 100 of the workers to be even. I have never seen so many changes in exec level roles the HR Exec recruiting should be removed. When Paul left after only a few months on the job and we waited a few months for him to join i thought it was NUTS. There is no excuse at that level of Exec recruiting that his GOALs could not have been better vetted. I wanted to give our executives the benefit of the doubt but OMG this is crazy. How are they going to pay for all the top leader additions. The bottom run in droves. They will not feel the impact immediately. It will take a couple years for the gaps to bubble up to their level in the clouds. It is concerning that leadership changes are constant and all while we are waiting for the big 2022 AXE to make the 150MM shortfall or whatever it is in Technology maybe only $80MM. How many execs could cover that 4 maybe 3?

Who the H knows. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he hired on 10 more in 2022 along with some feckless explanation as to why they are needed.
