Work at home employees are being tracked. If you have been doing a side job and double dipping, the powers to be are probably already aware. It's that time of year again and you will not receive a RIF package. Why would they start looking at you? They can monitor your screen time and you better start paying attention and answering your phone when called.

Yeah ICT let’s them see ur computer screen at anytime not just when ur taking calls. If you are using their laptop or thin client then they can monitor what ever they want whether u get an Internet stipend or not.
LMAO…so you think someone at Verizon is tracking employees…they can’t even figure out why Device Payments are attaching to accounts, it takes weeks to close simple tickets. Yeah our IT needs one more thing to track.
Uhmmm Verizon does not pay for my home fios service. monitoring a device I get no stipend on is a slippery slope legally. Now if your paying for my internet connection do as you please.

Your computer has software on it that sniffs the network. If it sees anything suspicious it will alert leadership to investigate further.

If you are using Verizon equipment to run a side business on paid time you should be fired, no severance. Every frocking company does this.
Huh? This doesn't make sense. You don't use the same computer for both Verizon and your side jobs. You use a completely separate computer system for your side jobs. My wife does it all the time and makes good money doing it.
Tracking software does the work, No manager required for this.
