My post about wokeness k–ling HPE was removed. Has censorship gotten THAT bad in this country? I must have struck a nerve.
With headquarters now in Houston, TX will all the purchased companies move too? Will Cray move?
@4clx+18ENqL1u HPE is now smaller than Compaq in 2000. Compaq didn't have layoff until the merger with HP. Company should never have merged with HP. HP/HPE ruined everything it touches.

Looks like a lot of Indians are posting on the HPE thread based on the broken English used in many of these posts.
Don't remember any layoffs at Compaq. Layoffs started when HP bought Compaq as well as outsourcing to India.
HPE is a white box manufacturer! 'HP not INVENT' - it might as well rename itself as COMPAQ. The Executives, management and senior contributors are fat cats and line their pockets with rewards not commensurate with market performance. Any fool can cost cut to dress up the balance sheet for wall street - you cannot cost cut to growth. HPE is shrinking and drowning fast. HP no longer INVENT! It has become a COMPAQ cowboy outfit. Cut out the deadwood down to the tree trunk! Executive and middle managers are mostly inefficient and not accountable to growth of the company.
The innocent loyal veterans are sacrificed for younger, shinier and lower wage employees who despite their talent and prowess - lack in-depth knowledge, experience and wisdom.
The rewards for the squeaky wheel and 'hot air' executives is what drives the company to continue to fail with endless cycles of WFRs. The work environment is TOXIC...for those who are lucky to leave on their own terms, I say congratulations and well done. For those who employees who remain exploited by the corrupt management - get your skates on...and leave - HPE is dying everyday by a thousand cuts! Happy New Year
Ditto. HPE’s stock is one of few stocks to still be down YTD whereas HPQ and Dell are up. The only one they’re beating is IBM but that company is in a larger mess than HPE since they’re forfeiting all of their hardware and becoming solely a software company.
I’m sure investors in HPE (those who remain) are uncertain about the company’s strategy. What exactly is next for HPE?
Just wait until MLK Day, or the day after if they're considerate, that's the second week before the end of the quarter so should be the next likely layoff day. If you think the WFR days are over read the great article on Seeking Alpha on HPE's stock, has an insightful summary of HPE's rev decline YoY and why you shouldn't be jumping in to their stock.
Where did these layoffs occur?
