Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

More

More layoffs today. They continue in small amounts just to keep everyone on edge. The amount of talented (yes there is talent there!!!) people looking for the door is staggering. The saving grace is they will end up in a better situation

Ok I’ll add more truth if this thread doesn’t devolve like the last one. Pay attention this might be the last one. Fiserv is like a lot of companies. They seek to bring in early in career people and mine for gems. They hit big time in epay. Gave some accelerated bumps to appease the A players. So they were happy. But then it slowed again. The trick is the associate remembers the big bump and thinks they’re doing well. So you have 10 year people who could hugely increase their comp and they’re not moving. The SVP’s call these folks toads. A players under market carrying tons of work load. And your SVP thinks of you as a toad. That’s the real deal.

@2rqa+15WSMUZ3 If several companies in an industry are willing to pay a larger sum for talent. Doesn't that change the baseline pay across the industry or is there some other measure that is used by Fiserv? Compare your pay rate on glassdoor, or indeed. You might find better opportunities await.

I was told the Fiserv pays all of its employees exactly market rate. It is not Fiserv's fault if every other company pays more than market rate.

@1iqi+15WSMUZ3 Humm, in most cases the grass is greener, because most everyone that leaves Fiserv gets more money. Wouldn't that be considered a greener ending? I've known 8 people that have left the company in the last two months to go on to make more money. Fiserv is known for paying its employee's below industry.

Not really what company are you talking about and don’t you think every company in the world is going through layoffs. I’ve seen two of my family members furloughed and one laid off. Get real stop being so naive and believing the grass is greener you sound gullible.

If they are leaving current Fiserv, that automatically puts them in a better position. Even without a job

One of the SVP reductions was about as bad as it gets. If you can’t see his leadership and value, you’re completely hopeless. Unbelievable
