Hearing from some colleagues that some folks who were laid off are coming back due to miscalculations in the process. Curious how big the number will be.

I'm seeing ones coming back that were previously FTE back to their original FTE responsibilities even if the department no longer exists. Kept their severance and all other bonuses related to the separation too.
The only ones I'm seeing "coming back" are short term ETW contracts
This is a joke, right guys?
People say they won’t come back because they haven’t been asked to. Unfortunately majority of us are still laid off.
It’s fair to let people keep the severance, it’s for the emotional distress they got put through.
Does anyone know which org had the reverse layoff?
@2oxk is obvious they are lying, no way they would announce any changes to WFH policy to a non-employee. I guess it makes them feel better to pretend they were wanted back so bad.
Laid off in Feb round and have been called 3 times with offers to return to 3 different departments. First offer was a lower band level, lower bonus/pay. And it was required that all severance be returned and work started immediately. And was told 5 days in office would start by September.
Was a very easy no.
Those returning are absolute id--ts. There are more things valuable than money. Sold their souls
Yes I know of a few people who have returned and kept their severance.
Is this for real?
People returning will keep severance, accelerated options vesting. Sweet deal.
What??? Is this actually true? The job market is sh--e but Nike has burned that bridge for me. Like someone else stated, all of this eas handled so poorly and with zero concern for anyone. When someone tells you who they are, listen. Nike has clearly shown us who they are.
I have heard and seen the latter. People additionally being laid off after being told they made the cut
I even heard you can do a reverse lookup in Slack to see who returns by searching for the term "69:420"
What self respecting person would go back? F-c* Nike just saw how we were ALL treated. Everyone kept in the dark for months wondering if the axe would fall. Horrible company with evil narcissistic clowns in leadership. Better employment is out there.
And everyone gets promoted as well.
:-)
Turns out due to a system glitch, they get to keep their severance as well. Curious how big the number will be
