Is anybody else having to deal with this? Every offer extended to me in the last six months had a ridiculously low starting pay. I'm talking 30% to 40% under what I'm making now. I don't understand why this is happening. I know I'm being paranoid, but it's starting to feel like they know how desperate people are to leave Fiserv and think we'll accept anything just to get away.

Leaving Fiserv I got a raise, a bonus and remote… which is a raise itself. Also better health going into a better culture.
Keep looking! Fiserv is awful just like its CEO
“All time high”….Thats because your currency is being devalued to fund wars for the tribe occupying our country.
As someone that went through a layoff due to being remote, I can vouch for the poster that the job market is rough right now. I experienced some companies offering lower based on geography rather than experience.
To the original poster, keep looking, the jobs are out there. Consider looking at your skill set and how it can translate to other industries as well.
Not only you… It’s the current job market that’s very terrible.
No you didn’t stop lying.
Left fiserv after I've got promoted with "astonishing" 3 % raise. I've got 40 % raise and full remote position.
This is the most entitled., whiny thread.
Experience matters. Just because you want it (participation trophies), you can't expect it in the REAL world. I haven't read much in regards to that yet you may have overvalued yourself.
I took a remote job 2 levels below for more pay. You didn't say what kind of work. That makes a difference.
You left off the access to a private jet and the contractual 6% raise you get every year.
I got a 1500% raise, I only have to work one day a week, and I get free unlimited vintage champagne.
I left Fiserv for a 75% raise in big-tech.
Left this year, 49% raise in salary, remote work and much less toxic environment. Can’t believe I stuck around for over 20 years.
100% of those I know who left F-serv this year due to layoff have gone on to better pay and some got remote only work, with better pay.
This is the exact opposite of what everyone who left Fiserv has reported about their new pay.
Almost as if it was a made up story by Fiserv to slow the bleeding of talent.
But perhaps it is true. Maybe Fiserv is so bad that even the well compensated people want to leave and the only thing keeping them here is money. That situation would reflect poorly on Fiserv culture. It is embarrassing for the company to have even the highest paid employees wanting to leave.
Only on this site could Fiserv paying 40% more than other orgs be spun as a negative for Fiserv.
What you’re learning here friend is the grass isn’t always greener.
If the recruiters are approaching you on their own It's the linkedin problem. Try to optimize it to look more experienced. If you are looking for job I guess it is time to optimize your CV or learn relevant skills to be more valuable. Also your presentation at interview is important.
Wait until the economy tanks and the market is flooded with high salary people that are dying for any job at 50% of their previous salary.
Fiserv definitely has a reputation problem
Guess that's what happens when it is an employer's market. The economy svcks, but stocks and housing are at ATH.
