Posting here instead of reddit, to keep more anonymous for obvious reasons. Let’s just say our DL conveniently looks the other way when alone, and says just stay open your fine. I need written proof he’s wrong. I know it’s against company policy to be alone in the store, but can’t find the policy in writing.

Why not contact HR and ask?
@2jud+1uDh4TGU What do you mean they "took the policy"? And what happens if RX is NOT there and your literally alone? That's the answer I really need. Because wouldn't that be an AP issue?
You can open or close alone , they took the policy of there must be 2 people in the building at all times , remember if anyone is working in pharmacy they count as someone in the building. I have a 24hr store and Rx is opened 24hrs so therefore only one person works the overnight and the pharmacist is there so they consider it as 2 people in the building . Hopes this helps & yes it HORRIBLE!
I wouldn't work alone in a CVS Store, even if it was during the day time. Tell your boss you don't feel safe working alone.
Almost sp-t my drink out on that one!
When you work for CVS you're never alone! Satan is always with you!
Cvs has been pulling a lot of documents off the internal networks. They have a whole cleansing team which the bithch coo is probably leading.
You should be able to search policies in colleague zone. You can also contact colleague relations or someone in Asset Protection to ask about store staffing/scheduling standards for safety/compliance and associated policies . It may be good to check with neighboring districts/stores and how they handle similar situations.
Good luck finding it written anywhere.
You can open alone but your not suppose to close alone
