My husband has been approached by a recruiter for a manager or even director level position. Nothing official yet in terms of an offer, but we're both a little concerned by all of the reviews from current and previous employees.
Is it any different in terms of experience for manager positions and above?

Do Not,DO NOT let your husband join here as a director. The way I have seen excitement diminish to glimmers of hope diminish further to Oh well I just work here in the eyes of directors is beyond ridiculous. At this point managers and directors will openly tell folks they have no idea what a new policy or process is supposed to accomplish. No idea how they are going to train folks fast enough. Etc etc. They are in too many meetings to be effective at team management and their ideas are disregarded.
Everything is true. Stay far away! Directors have no power anymore and are just puppets
Are you telling them to leave their husband after 2 years? I mean it's a reasonable assumption the way this place chews people up. Their husband probably won't be the man they married anymore after 2 years here.

Go for it, get the director title under your husbands name and leave after a year or two
As a director I am merely an underpaid punching bag. I am so stressed I have not slept through the night in years.
I have to wonder - why in the world would you ever still be thinking about it when you read all our thoughts here? No one except the highest level execs are safe and even then, the ones with morals who realize what's going on, leave.
The manager and directors are puppets doing the dirty work of those above them. They have no direct authority to make decisions. Even employee ratings and salary adjustments are dictated from above. If your husband expects decent raises, this is not the place for him. Even EARNED bonuses (if he qualifies) have claw back clauses if he decides to leave the company. Don't consider the position.
You will have no time left looking for a new job once you start working here. They made sure you will put in at least 12 hours a day plus weekends.
Director here. No, it only gets worse because you’re closer to the soul su-king executive team.
Please do not believe the Glassdoor or other ratings online. I totally made that mistake, and I had such high hopes, if only I’d seen this site prior! Everything on here is 100% true!
If you love your husband and your family tell him to keep searching. No amount of money is worth this place. This place is an absolute dumpster fire, the ONLY reason most of us are still here is bc we haven’t found something else. I am a manager and the amount of stress and sheer anxiety is insane!
Former director, retired to escape (once I met all the "gotchas Fiserv has deemed necessary to allow retirement, hit sixty, ran as fast as I could). Unless you're a member of Frank's family, STAY AWAY. Took me almost 2 years to recover from the PTSD.
I have never had health problems until I worked at Fiserv. Managers spend their day watching their subordinated productivity on a tracking app. This is not the place to work if you want any type of well being. So glad I left.

Unless you have stress related injuries on your bucket list (ptsd, heart attack, etc.). Run away as fast as you can.
Absolutely turn and run. Toxic environment, outdated executive leadership that only cares about the stock price, teams have been decimated with constant layoffs. Unless you need to have this job in order to eat don’t take it
I would steer clear. Also you need to tell them if they present you with an offer that you're saying no due to overwhelming negative reviews online.
Run away. Former Director here...Fiserv is now a toxic environment. Top leader only cares about stock price...anyone saying this company cares about their end customers is in denial.
No. You'll have no autonomy and you won't be able to reward anyone. Most people at that level have left because of this. It's a thankless level at Fiserv.

He will not have permission to make any decisions. Even minute details are dictated from above.
His responsibilities will be filling out reports that no one will ever read. Decision makers to not use reports or data to make decisions.
As long as he understands that nothing he will do will ever matter, then 'maybe' Fiserv could be a place he could work.
If you want a job that pays but over works you, gives you false expectations, doesn’t train, and never takes accountability when things fail than this is the job for him.
As a manager that recently left it’s worse. My team was amazing- the clients were amazing but senior leadership was absolutely terrible.

In some cases its worse. Some managers have their teams cut so thin they're pulling double duty as a manager and individual contributor. Instead of gratitude they just get double the reasons to be berated and abused.
Unless your mortgage is on the line... run! Pass this one up and wait out an offer from a company that treats their employees as human beings at an absolute minimum. You will not find that here.
My managers both quit at different times. Only if you NEED the money would advise for Fiserv, otherwise stay clear - it is not the company it was when JY owned it and even he had issues.
