Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Amazing the amount of Fake News!

Yesterday's rumor/lie --- associates must be in the office 5 days beginning Oct 1., truth the company has a published policy requiring associates to be in the office the Majority, which is 3/5 days.

The day before's rumor/lie --- associates who are asked to move to Berkeley Heights will not get severance. Truth, of course you will get severance so long as you help complete transition.

I could go on. Stop coming hear and spreading false information, you just make yourself look foolish when the truth comes out.

People, get a grip. It is the whispering game. Not applied consistently, what else is new at Fiserv. Yet get an executive VP Town Hall in Alpharetta publicly shame those not coming in 3 days per week. Another Frank & his cronies yes men in empty suits. Watch them all in quarterly, shaking their heads up and down worshipping.

@2fbm+1iC3q18o I agree with you. Senior leadership is more concerned with people coming into the office then they are with developing products and assisting clients. They're focus is backwards. They've already had so much talent leave, I don't understand why they think this is a good idea. I wish senior leaders would be transparent abut the end goal here other then collaboration. The only thing people are collaborating on is updating resumes.

I’m not a corporate poster. Read my post again. I’m concerned where our leaders are taking us. Wfh is not our biggest problem. Tired of hearing people gripe about it. The leaders are gutting us. Why. ?

@1bsh+1iC3q18o Three years ago I didn't bat an eye about going into the office because I was permanent WFH full time.

I’m so tired of people complaining about wfh. Like who cares anymore. This is our biggest concern??? I’m concerned more about the direction the company is going. Wake up. 3 years ago no one blinked a damn eye about being in the office.

Post on Fuel schedule a town hall to discuss and take UNSCRIPTED questions. If not true deal with it in the light of day stop coming here to spin and complain about the messaging Fiserv controls, it OP's has the keys to the kingdom.

Majority is the policy --- of course people take vacation and travel and that has nothing to do with majority - stop trying to scare people with your lies.

You cannot hit the 3 day a week requirement by only going in 3 days a week. Badge reports are run and percentages must be hit. Holidays and PTO days are not removed from the calculation. Therefore, if you're only going in 3 days a week and you take PTO and don't go in on the holidays you'll never make the number. Don't let the 3-day a week number fool you. I can assure you those reports are run and reviewed and explanations must be provided for all who don't hit the current required percentage.

This would be funny if it wasnt true that Fiserv has just proven they need toi manage this board and the comments here. Here is a novel idea be transparent. If Fiserv's plan is to phase from 3, 4, to 5 days in the office and an elimination of virtually all WFH options -- just say it!

Actually some associates were told by their VP this week that starting in October they must be in five days a week. Others have not been told yet. I'm hoping to avoid five days a week in an office

The 3/5 days policy is based on 2021 numbers and hasn't been updated yet for INFLATION.

If an hour of my work in 2022 has 9% less buying power than it did in 2021, then I assume my time in the office is less important also?

I hope there's metal detectors at the door. I for one do not want to be forced into a "park" with this many disgruntled employees

There arent enough seats in Phase 1 to make everyone be 5 days... Badge report reviews will definitely be stepped up regardless. "Majority" may be the "policy" now. When that means visibly 40% empty on a given day that will change....FB doesn't like to see empty desks. Badge in days will officially or more likely unofficially be factored into performance review and certainly "promotability" especially the higher you are in food chain. Just like NJ moves overall...if you are senior but didn't jump at chance to embrace NJ, congrats--you just plateaued your career. Who's going to be surprised at a November email where we "intentionally" pursue more "together" time for four days a week? Who wouldn't want to spend more time in a Park?

I was just told by upper management that ALL associates going to Berkeley innovation center will be required to be in 5 days. Badge swipes are being tracked on this.

Just spoke with todd and HP confirmed neither one said anyone was asked to be in the office 5 days a week contrary to the companies policy on "the majority"

You know how in the past you would deny things that were later revealed to be true. You just confirmed that these things are true.

Transparency from corporate is void. Truth lessens fear, false rumors, and treats everyone as professionals and adults.
Associates have been in partnership to the success of this company. What respect has been given in return?
Another case study on how to destroy a culture, company, and morale. Pretty basic, but not for some.

Also, point me to this "policy." I would LOVE to see it and be proved wrong. Why would our direct leader who reports directly to Frank tell us this if it weren't true??? You have no idea what you're talking about.
