Quit 3 years ago. Best choice I ever made in my life. There is no money to be made. If you have any morals you won't hit your quota. Verizon is just a company of fraudster.
Wait so they are laying folks off but they are also hiring like crazy? Makes no sense. I hear team commission was the norm and now it is individual commission. Every one I have talked to tells me something different. What’s really going on
@2elh+1uDstOvM You are absolutely correct, the way the individual quota works is that it's quite easy to find yourself in that situation in a 8 month time frame. Because of foot traffic dwindling (36 months Device payment),and the constant customer service problems created by overseas customer service reps. By the way the iPhone 16 launch was a complete bust.So our store in the northeast out of 10 reps ,7 should get a pip this month. And the mgmt will tell the reps it's their fault. Where does Verizon get their forecasting from? A Chrystal Ball!
Get a side hustle and focus more on that, you’ll make more there than the commission
RUN!!!
What is the average commission look like if you hit your metrics? Is it still team selling or individual. Thanks
The quota in the stores are artificially high and arbitrary. The store traffic is down also from even 3 years ago. You get $20 of revenue for every upgrade and $100 revenue for a new phone line while competing for that line against at least 4 to 6 others during 1 shift. This shows the company has no integrity and doesn't care about customer retention, while talking about customer retentionand priority upgrades. The daily micromanaging will make you want to leave within 6 months and burnt out within a year. During the month of December your quota will be so high that you will sell 60+ phone adds( more foot traffic) but make only about $800 depending on your locations revenue quota. Lastly, you'll be trying every month to attain 80%to quota because if you don't the pip process will begin. So the first month under 80% the pip doesn't go away for 3 mos if you get a 2nd month pip that doesn't go away for 6 months, so say you're 5 months down the road and you're under 80% you're reviewed for termination. Great culture no just a lack of respect and integrity to the front line.
Dude, you’ll make 100k easy fo sho.
I’m just kidding. Are you old enough to remember Circuit City?
