A friend of mine in HR (not at Nike) told me that her company was given Covid relief money if all employees were vaccinated by December 31, 2021, a $4000 bonus for each employee. Does anyone know if NIke received funding for mandating that all employees get the shot? And is the mandatory shot really about public health if companies are getting paid to push it on people?

Well, you’ve heard wrong. Why would they even need it, they are making enough money as it is, ripping us off left and right.

Yes I am pro censorship within the realm of private property rights. You see, that neat little thing called private property rights is what does NOT allow you to walk into someone else’s house, start ranting and talking nonsense, and then when you’re rightly censored or kicked out start whining like an ignorant, entitled little b*tch, “mUh FrEe sPeECh RiTze iZ bEeInG vIoLAteDeD!!”
Once again this is not a government-owned website. It’s a privately owned website. So despite your hilarious and misguided protestations to the contrary you 100% don’t have any “free speech” rights here as you earlier claimed. The owners of this private website have every right to censor you as much as they’d like. Because the private property rights they ACTUALLY have trump the “free speech” rights you mistakenly think you have, but don’t.

By the way I really did enjoy the unintended irony of YOU mentioning “critical thinking and logical reasoning” in the same post where you demonstrated no understanding whatsoever of basic, 5th grade American civics! @2dwd…the concept of “free speech” refers to the GOVERNMENT censoring or restricting speech. Why do SO many Americans like you incorrectly think you have some sort of mythical “free speech” right on privately owned websites?? Are you poorly educated? Maybe just unfamiliar with the most basic tenets of how ‘rights’ actually do and don’t work? Please tell us more about your “free speech” rights on a website you don’t own.
The original post is d-mb. It’s a fantastic example of how id--tic, fact-free rumors get started. The post starts with the fake-innocent “I’m just asking a question” narrative, and ends with a purported statement of fact that isn’t actually true. Maybe THAT’s why the comments have been edited?
Then again, given that you don’t even understand such a basic premise like “free speech” there’s probably no reason to believe you’d possess much ability to discern fact from fiction.
