You can ask your manager what the pay range is for your position. They are asked not to mention it unless you ask however.
pay ranges depend on location, and there are 3 sub-grades for every grade, so you can't just say one band for 45, one for 50. There are like a hundred of them
Let’s use this thread to share salary levels?
The more transparent we are the more we can use that info to help each other!
So
What are the pay ranges for 55, 50, 45,40 levels etc ( low medium, high numbers)
Anyone know?
45 , 205 base, 45 stock, 25% bonus.
grade 45 - $220k base, 20% PSP, 55k stock
Director 50 - $186k base (new D50 coming in at $188k) and $65k stock bonus. (Can fluctuate 5-10k with manager influence.) 25% PSP.
If you pick shares, they are worth what they tell you. More if share price goes up
I mean, of course it gets taxed when it vest it, they sell off a portion to pay for those taxes automatically, so the shares you end up with are less, but that's true of ALL income. Options can be worthless, sure, but I've always just taken RSUs since I was risk averse, and they are worth whatever the market says they are. If Nike stays flat, they are worth the same 1-4 years later as they vest, if stock goes up, they go up. The whole purpose is an incentive to have the employees vested in the performance of the company and to act as golden handcuffs
$65k awarded in stock options, after 4 years vesting the stock stays flat which means it was $0. Thats what they meant. The draw here is the upside potential in options. Which recently haven’t been so rewarding. Taking the award as RSUs would be different. $65k and stock stays flat then at least it would be worth $65k.
@2djx - Theoretically, in 4 years time it can be considered $65k annually, no? Since you’d have prior years vesting..
What am I missing?
Why?
FYI for those reading the stock award is not worth $65k. That is was Nike tells you, but it is worth MUCH less initially and has high potential to be worth $0 (with options) and also less with RSU. There is upside potential if the stock rises. Point is, the “$65k” comp is a very deceptive number and the award doesn’t automatically match that (not to mention a 4 yr vest period). I’m writing this because I don’t want people to think that others are actually receiving $65k annually because that is simply not true.
Oof, I'm cg 45 and make more than that in base, though bonus is only 20% and stock 55k
50 level, director here.
Just being transparent in case it helps.
I earn 210k + 25% bonus, + 65k stock award.
exactly, nobody specified they were looking for base bay or total comp. I can tell you at least one data point is over $300k total comp.
Salary closer to 250. Total comp closer to 300.
Grade 50 is director level, why are people giving Sr Dir pay numbers?
250-300 is SD+ 55+
50 is a D role, or a distinguished IC. salary is going to vary wildly, but it's probably closer to 250k than 300k

At WHQ.
Whats the role? Location? etc?
Way too much for the incompetent mo--ns in Nike HR, they are complicit with the SLT in botching this layoff and ki-ling what was left of Nike's culture. Those that left hate Nike and the ones that stayed are looking over there shoulders at all times. Useless function
Tree fiddy!
It gud.
