Since the company and union have sat down and did talks, yet no one has heard anything. You guys said three weeks. We are now at 3 weeks and one day. So what's up?? Is there an extension or not??

The Union never says anything til they’re done talking. I guessing you’ll know something next week.
Not too many leaving now with inflation at 8% and growing ,gas and all goods going up in price.most will stay a couple of more years.hope the union can get a good raise for us to match this crazy inflation rates and cola and a pension bump up ,but lets see what happens ,union dont say too much now days so that leads me to believe we going get the shaft in 2023
@5wfh+1h48oStg, From your mouth to God's ears. I wish they would offer the enhanced EIPP package so that we can jump ship before it sinks. I don't see the point of staying until 30 years, the pension stinks, the medical stinks, half of us will have to get another job after retirement from these demon seeds just to get by and if you don't get another job, most of us suffer with chronic illnesses after working for them that we qualify for SSDI. #ihatethem
Has anyone heard of a possible package?
Company said no deal. Back to the drawing board. Get your red shirts ready!
Per the company, will meet with union this and next week. Union says absolutely nothing as usual but at least the company has been open to releasing info.
Us techs are ready to walk if the reps don’t get work from home!
Thank you @2cvs for staying on topic and giving us an update!
@2sad+1h48oStg Texhs get paid too much for too little work. Also, tons of repeats. Reps deserve tech pay and pension band.
Home gararging
You can't sling wires and climb poles from home Skippy. Try again...
@2rak+1h48oStg Talks are still ongoing. The rumors are that they’re still working on raises, pension, and the final details for WFH. WFH will be for everyone, not just seniority.
Are the talks still going on?
You must think my pension is much larger than it actually is. Maybe I’m losing 50k. And that could change by the time I go. And most likely will.
Because you will lose 100,000 to 200,000 in pension so yes you can continue to work. But one and possibly two years will be just to break even. And yes you will add to your 401k but it won't be as much as you are losing by staying extra years because your pension will also be dropping 10 grand a year because your life expectancy is going down each year too basically you would have to stay about 3 extra years and hope there is tons of overtime for it to be worth it. P.s then you will also be 3 years older.
How are you losing lots of money by staying? Keep getting paid, keep loading up 401k, with so few employees, there will be tons of OT. Win -Win for me.
90%? I expect 0.9%
For some reason people want to stay even when it means losing lots of money.
Doesn’t matter!! 90% are leaving before July 1.sad.
Rangers in 5. That’s all we know right now.
Besides 'extension' there has been no update on anything since March 2020, so why should it change now ?
