India is going to mess up whatever new projects, parts, programs that comes their way. Its the norm and after a bunch of excuses and reasons the ALT will buy into it citing low cost trumps quality any given day.
The bunch of charlatans will convince the leadership team of the great enourmous benefit moving the work to India with little knowledge of what happens there. When the mess emerges, those charlatans will already been promoted twice over to be liable to answer for their bad judgement.

@2abm, do you even work at Honeywell? You know that any work that leaves China goes to India or ANY low cost place, and NOT the good ole USA! Honeywell for 20+ years demonstrated their hatred of American workers. Hell, most of Sr mgmt are not from US

Moving out of China and returning some of those jobs back to the US ain't such a bad idea. I would vote for that.

China? If the pandemic doesn't lead to RIF, the US-Sino trade disputes will definitely gurantee a round 3 being that Honeywell has minimal affliation with China local entities. Things may change come November. Although, knowing Honeywell, the ones above will take every oppurtunity to cut costs and blame it on a calamity such as this.

I haven't heard about APAC or EMEIA but I'm really hoping for another chance to raise my hand in the US. Those arent RIFd or quit will likely face PIPs for not meeting impossible goals. This is likely on purpose to be able to get rid of people and not pay severance. Get out while you can folks, AERO is NOT coming back. Let me repeat, AERO is NOT coming back. It's moving forward to the software industrial failure we all know it will be. The days of building things at Honeywell are done.
