Everything on here seems to be related to Nike corporate layoffs. Some of us who work in stores are worried about layoffs coming our way. Has anyone heard anything about this?

Yes, I work in loss investigarions.
@1dmn+1tSP0G71 Is that a thing?
Carl Icahn is the man, that is some no BS business right there!!!
Most of the time, retail isn't impacted since they are profit generating roles. Also cutting a bunch of $15 - $20 hour position doesn't really help the 'bottom' line as much as cutting someone deeply imbedded in Tech, Finance, Supply Chain or HR.
As Famous Carl Icahn said after acquiring a company, 'I fired 12 floors of people' - https://www.tiktok.com/@wallstreetoasis/video/7373671206479777030
If you keep stealing and having your crew steal from us...there will be.
Help us reverse those declining sales figures and you’re good.
Layoffs almost never hit the retail level of any company unless a good percentage of the retail staff are full time or there are hour minimums to your role. Management just told that staffing levels should be at X at Y times of the day and then schedules are adjusted accordingly. In 2009 I worked retail and at the height of things part timers were getting like 5-10 hours a week.
I have no idea but I wouldn't think so. Are you seeing less foot traffic?
