Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Premier 1 and 2

How hard will management make it for a premier to go from a 1 to a 2. What time frame is there? Will there be a significant bump in salary? When will they start reviewing and assessing end of quarter results? These are all questions I would like answered and have gotten none so far.

If you want info about being a Premier 2, let me know. I am one. Or at least I was until they got rid of all this 1,2,3 business. I am still new to the company, and worried about a layoff which is why I'm here. It sounds like you have been around for a bit, so why do you want to get up to Premier Banker 2, besides the obvious salary increase? And again, apparently there is no more 1,2,3...we're all just Premier Banker now. I know based on experience that that is where the salary difference comes in. No disrespect as I'm sure you're just as qualified as I am (perhaps sans your 7/63, but you can get those knocked out no problem if you want it). Anyway. I hear people say all the time "no position is safe" but part of me wonders if maybe this position is more safe and others are less safe. Again, I'm too new and wouldn't know for sure, but just based off what I've heard here and there, I'm at least hoping that is the case. Anyway, if I can answer anything for you then please let me know, PB2 (or was).

There is no way that is the criteria most of the premier banker 2s would be fired if that was the case!

If that is pressure then you should not be in commissioned financial sales. You want pressure, talk to some people from Ameriprise. 80% don’t make it through year one.

It’s pressure when you some how have to produce 2.5 mil in investments a qtr or lose your job. You can have 10 million the qtr before but if you go the next qtr without anything then yeah you are written up. That’s what pressure is, not sure why that had to be explained to someone....id–ts...

Lots of job justification going on above the position with the asl’s. Pointless calls that do nothing but take up time and toot their own horn.

There is no clear answer but it will be up to the branch manager district manager and ASL. As long as 2 out of 3 like you then you are good to go. You would have had to have been in your role for 2 years I believe and mid tier pay depending on areas is something from 80-105k. Also you’ll be exempt going forward so no more Ot. Problem is premier 1s have to prove their promotion and you’ll need to be closing 2.5mil a qtr in investments, have IFS involved and complex lending through small business portal. Oh you also would have had to pass the series 66 along with the 7. Who says there is no such thing as pressure? Because if you don’t meet that you get promoted to customer! Guess who’s working on their resume? I am, because for a branch that has never in the last ten years did more than four mil a year in investments the goals are impossible to attain.

I know nothing about this role, but for pay info go to the Job Families Tool on TW and look it up.
