@2jga+13VHJMSp - in that article above it does mentioned new credit card accounts. Guess that's what happened to you.
I stand corrected - "I am sure there will be a forth one, and fifth, and so on ... ". I am sure if they look under the rugs of all banks - they are all dirty. Some are worse than others.
I originally only had one Bank of America credit card. Now I have three. Not sure how that happened but when the 2 additional Bank of America credit cards arrived in the mail I did have to do the call the number posted to activate the card. It was not like the 2 additional cards were requested by me, came out of no where. But I did activate them. Some of the 3 Bank of America credit card accounts that I acquired have much higher interest rates than the other ones.
Crooked bankers spread like the coronavirus.
BofA is currently under investigation for the same thing. Look it up.
