You championed the numbers by celebrating those 'amazing' sales results from SNKRS.
You took credit for building an incredible consumer offense.
You 'leveled' the playing field and re-imagined the digital queue.
You out performed competitors and got product in the hands of consumers 😉
But all you did was play yourself, the company, and the center of that meaningless flywheel. You hurt consumers because WCJ played into the only strategy you know: create demand. Whether it was him or another ELT kid you accepted this behavior. The problem is everyone knows that article forced your hand. It'd be business as usual and that's why there is still NO TRUST in you. Now you're scrambling to mitigate further damage. That's why people are deleting digital trails and calling in clean up crews.
FOH with transparency and doing the right thing. AH is guilty of indulging her son but you indulged her. This isn't solely on her, it's on you.
Thankfully, there's still hope for the next train wreck.
You have new leaders clueless on how to show up.
You got a dumpster fire of an org that's fumbling and fighting like kids pretending to be adults.
