Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Spring

Will be here soon. I will be finding housing in the great state of NJ and leaving behind the mess I made in Ohio. Cannot wait to make this company the greatest in the history of fin tech.

While the poster had positive remarks its a nice place to visit in the summer but you don't want to live there.. leave you with this: The Garden State was ranked the worst state to retire to in a recent WalletHub analysis, with Mississippi and New York close behind. It was second-to-last in affordability alone, and ranked 34th in quality of life and 28th in healthcare.

Mississippi, the second-worst state to retire in according to this analysis, scored 50th in quality of life, 49th in healthcare but 12th in affordability. New York was the seventh best state for healthcare, the 12th best for quality of life but the absolute last in affordability.

I live in Pennsylvania and I like New Jersey, it's not great, but it's a nice state. I hate that everyone here shits all over it cause they don't want to move there. It's not the states fault that our company and ceo are terrible. Only issue, at least compared to where I am, my property taxes are about $4k a year, same property in NJ is about $14k a year. That's just not doable for many people.

Also.... Frank pays $68k a year in property taxes, on one property, who knows how many he has. Median employee pay at fiserv is $67k.

I work for a BU greatly impacted by this RTO (on New Jersey) or GTFO and so far I have only heard of two people moving.

That's funny. I speak to people everyday that were given the choice to move to NJ or hit the road. Not one of them chose NJ.

New Jersey is no joy - lived there, grew up there and moved out of there. Expensive beyond belief and your going there will make the greatest fintech - well you hold yourself in high exteem. Moving itself is expensive, glad you have the cash to do it. ($12000 from NY state to Georgia).

How would your success at fixing the mess you made in Ohio change by moving to New Jersey? If you were going to make fintech great why didn’t you do it before? How long does it take to go from Ohio to New Jersey? A couple of days by highway.
I’m still waiting on this 200 stock. It’s gone from 109 to 103. I can thank team cbus for it.
