I'm a recruiter at a major software firm and at the moment, I am basically getting paid to poach software developers from failing/imploding organizations such as Fiserv. I just recently poached another couple of good developers from the firm and received a bonus for doing so. One my latest poachees stated that his primary reason for leaving was due to a ridiculous healthcare price hike. Keep it up, Fiserv!

This can't be True. The amount that software developers get paid put them in Tier 2. There would not have been an increase in health care costs. You must have hired a software manager instead.
FIS and Square have an opportunity to start stealing customers from Fiserv, since their customers are getting c-ap service. They have been complaining regularly.

@2obu+17PD6wRF Fiserv is seeing the impact of letting people go that had key knowledge of how the infrastructure works, and they are burning people out with all the fire drills and chaos that employee's are dealing with now.

In my world with Fiserv, I was a single point of failure and I still got the pink slip. But I believe it was in keeping with Frank's M.O. of off-shoring whatever resources that he can find. In the end, the position was so untenable (doing the work of multiple former employees, and getting more and more dumped on the plate) that the only upside to the position was working remotely. Which Frank intended to get rid of anyway.
But I was underpaid anyway, and miserable. Best thing that ever happened to me. 15% more in salary and I don't have to put up with the daily Fiserv cluster####.
@1xfb+17PD6wRF People are quietly looking for their exit. Your attrition rate is very large, and compared to the Fiserv/Checkfree merger the attrition rate is larger primarily due to the Benefits stripping and like the $75+ medical hike, no ESPP discount or 401K match. As the economy starts to tick back up next year this company will start losing people faster.
I can say that CO-OP Financial Services in Atlanta is getting some of Fiserv's best talent for sure. As Fiserv continues to cut cost and impact customers.
Tell us who you work for and what your company results were at Q3. My bet you are some low life who gets thrills making things up. Still lowest turnover rate of any merger of large firms and more good things happening everyday! Not losing anyone to $75 more per month in benefits, so try again.

I would believe him as several local firms have had major talent take a walk out the door and while healthcare was not a reason, the changes made are not good along with the matching 401K issue which is really petty. Cost cutting is the mood of the day, eh, year. Fiserv is good ground for getting good talent too.
