Hint: never. She's a grifter. This "job" is just welfare for her, and the board is d-mb and corrupt enough to pay it. Guarantee that as soon as her share lockup is over, she dumps $10mil in stock, quits, and gets that senior job at AWS she really wants. Doubt she does a single day of work at NKE until then.

Not in the tech org but following this thread.. tell us, was anything motivational, strategic or otherwise shared this week?? Did she show up in the office?
Still cracking up that it took her six months to update her LinkedIn. What a joke. Please tell me she came out with some kind of brilliant communication strategy this week. Like most Nike leaders though, she could probably care less. She is looking out for number one.
That applies to all Vps in Tech. Only interested in their own careers
Hey that sounds like EC and AC as well!
Nike leaders want to pretend they don’t read the site, or if they do, they pass it off they justify the Comments by saying it’s only bitter people posting here. There might be some truth to that but reality is they are also seeing the unfiltered feedback. Employees are afraid to give candid responses in the employee survey for fear of retaliation.
Whether or not Dr read these post directly, I can ensure you her HR and comms team have read them and have advised her appropriately.
She surely does.
She was famous at Blind during her previous role at Amazon. Many interesting comments there as well.
She must have read this site. She updated her LinkedIn profile and acknowledged her role at Nike.
Joke of a leader, I think we get what we deserve. In tech, we have not hold our leaders accountable for longtime.
Sick and tired of this leadership dummies
@1wln most people get that she has kids in school. Makes sense to not move the family until summer. That doesn’t mean she is absolved from being an effective leader. RTO is ridiculous on many levels and the rules don’t seem to apply to everyone.
Personally, I don’t blame her for not wanting to move to Oregon. Why pick up your family and move if this is just a stop along the way in your career. How about all those people who did move their families here and are now without a job?
@1wln are you unironically suggesting the playing field between our CTO and all other employees is level with regard to mandated RTO?
How exactly did the entire punchline of this thread fly over your head? Funniest fu--ing thing I'll read all week if you're even a half percent serious with that smooth brain foolishness.
Take location aside for a sec: she could address to the organization, meet with people (and not only with her favs), make an effort to be present and respect the work happening.
If you had the chance to work with her, you know she does not care about any of the above.
Or maybe it’s because she has kids and is waiting until after school to move to Beaverton? Jeesh, stop looking for boogie-men everywhere.
@otd MD is that you?
No self respecting person is jealous or envious of absentee leadership. That boilerplate 30-60-90 we heard all about in her one non-canned HR email is a full 90 overdue. CTOs the only one in this conversation who needs to be better. Get fu---n with it.
I love walking past EC’s massive empty office every time I go into the office. Such a great leader.
Will her direct reports ever be required?
Look, RTO is d-mb and those making it a requirement are incompetent leaders. Nobody that can do their job well remotely should be required to go into an office.
The problem is that there are multiple sets of rules. EC, her direct report, loves his remote position but won’t do Jacksh!T to get that same option for his teams.
@otd Narcissism and incompetence are worse.
Envy and jealousy are dangerous. Be better.
Any exec coach will tell you the first 6 months on boarding into a new role or company is critical to the execs success. During this period of time it is crucial to be present and engaged. She had been neither. You also have to make personal sacrifices. Cool to prioritize family and outside activities, but she wasn’t savvy enough to keep that private until she got called out.
It’s disgusting and embarrassing. She will continue to find every reason to not be in Beaverton. Offsites, conferences and vacations. When she is here, Nike is paying for her travel. But all you minions who moved away during Covid so you could have a better quality of life and maybe benefit from flexibility and support from your family, you must RTO! Why, because according to our CEO remote work is the reason we are struggling.
On what is this assumption based?
The silence from her is deafening
No relevant job experience and no relevant tech experience... Stealing .millions and yet not updating her LI?? Obsessed to come across as celebrity and be the center of attention.. Sickening
