I thought the same, all of my art work is done on company time too.
Not sure why WF is so nosey/grabby with their employees in the shallowest ways possible.
All anyone expects from WF is a D+ to C+ job w/ a bi-weekly paycheck. No one is looking for WF chummy-ness, a WELL life community, etc.
I stay on my side of the line, WF should stay on their side. Any time either one of us crosses that line, it always ends up being a wasted effort.
My first thought was, even if I'm an artist I'm not giving my artistic property to a corporation that could claim it as theirs like intellectual property.
I retired from WF three years ago. I count my blessings every day. Glad I did not have to see this when I was there. Wishing you all the best.

😂 The HR/Culture "leaders" are asking us to submit artwork? We're not in middle school. We're in corporate America. We're overworked and stressed about the unceasing waves of layoffs and they're so disconnected they want us to draw while we sink.

Any artist who does this for free and gives up the right to their artwork is an id10t. Wells Fargo is not doing anyone favors. They want cheap art so that they don’t have to pay someone. Next week they will give you the pink slip.
these are for new eCards. I'm sure out of the few hundred of us left stateside there are some who really allreciate this. I remember doing something similar in elementary school, even for my picture in the local paper.
We're going to downsize you as soon as we possibly can, but in the meantime be a team player and crank out some art for us, will ya?

Sadly this is just another example of how people in charge are out of touch with reality.
They need to get rid of these kids and get mature adults in charge again.
